Principal Juan Miró sat down with Mexican design and lifestyle magazine Design Hunter for a brief interview about Casa Ferrum, our newest residential project in Monterrey. With architecture by Miró Rivera Architects and interiors by Ibarra Aragón Arquitectura, the three-story residence features a distinctive, curvaceous skin of white metal tubes. Casa Ferrum is the second house commissioned from MRA and IAARQ with the express purpose of being raffled off in a nationwide lottery to raise money for college scholarships. The annual contest is sponsored by Sorteos Tec, an organization that has provided scholarships to over half of all students at the Tecnológico de Monterrey over the last 70 years.
