ArchDaily has shared a trio of articles exploring exclusive content from our new monograph, entitled Miró Rivera Architects: Building a New Arcadia. First up is an overview of the book (view here), including a summary of its contents and advance praise from notable architects and urban planners. Next is the full text of the beautifully-crafted foreword, “Monks and Cowboys,” written by architect and critic Michael Sorkin (view here). The essay is one of the last written works by Sorkin, who passed away from Covid-19 this past spring. Finally, the world’s most visited architecture website posted a gallery of pinhole photographs commissioned by MRA from Belgian photographer Sebastian Schutyser (view here). Schutyser’s soft, pictorial imagery “perfectly showcases the dialogue between architecture and landscape which underlines the studio’s designs.”
