The wine room provides both a place to store and enjoy wine. With a total capacity of over 3,300 bottles, the room’s arrangement allows flexibility for an evolving collection, with shelves for case storage, bins and racks for individual bottle storage, and backlit alabaster displays to highlight important wines. Recalling the staves of a wine barrel, the floor to ceiling continuity of the 1 ½” tiered wood bands emphasizes the solidity and monolithic appearance of the space.

Cabinetry and concealed doors disguise the cellar’s mechanical elements such as the lighting controls, cooling equipment, and wine refrigerator. The integration of a table, side tables and stools provide an ideal setting for the client to enjoy their collection alone or to host small gatherings and dinners.
